Consent agenda, approved as one vote: 6.a: Authorized the City Manager to renew the support contract with Central Square for the Computer Aided Dispatch/Records Management System (CAD/RMS) in the amount of $87,879.30. 6.b: Approved the combined purchases of vehicle repair services from the sole source vendor Siddons-Martin, in an amount not to exceed $150,000.00. 6.c: Appointed John Hinton to the Weatherford Economic Development Board as the Planning and Zoning Commission representative. 6.d: Approved the award of RFP 2024-007 Job Order Contracting (JOC) Program for facilities maintenance and construction related services to Harendt Construction Group, LLC in an annual program amount not to exceed $1,000,000.00. 6.e: Authorized the City Manager to execute a Job Order with Harendt Construction Group, LLC under the FY24 Job Order Contracting Program for construction services related to Fire Station 1 Phase 2 improvements in an amount not to exceed $750,000.00.
7.a: Consider approval to formally change the name of the Noon Lions Ringer Alley horseshoe pits at Love Street Park to The John Allison Ringer Alley, on recommendation of the Weatherford Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. Director of Parks, Recreation and Special Events Jaycob Kirkpatrick presented this item. He explained that the Weatherford Parks and Recreation Advisory Board recommended changing the name of the horseshoe pits to The John Allison Ringer Alley as Mr. Allison was instrumental in creating the pits with the Weatherford Noon Lions Club in 2016, sanctioning the pits through the Texas Horseshoe Pitchers Association, hosting several tournaments each year, and spending countless hours at the park performing upkeep and maintenance. On the motion of Heidi Wilder, second by Matt Ticzkus, the City Council voted unanimously to approve changing the name of the Noon Lions Ringer Alley horseshoe pits at Love Street Park to The John Allison Ringer Alley. The motion carried 5 - 0.
8.a: Update on the Northwest Downtown Street Rehabilitation Project. Director of Public Works Chad Marbut presented an update regarding the Northwest Downtown Street Rehabilitation Project. He reported that the contractor (The Fain Group, Inc.) was approximately halfway through the project and on time with its schedule, anticipating a substantial completion date of June 23, 2024, and a final completion date of July 23, 2024. He added that the project was also aligned with its budget.

Action on executive session items: On the motion of Kevin Cleveland, second by Heidi Wilder, the City Council voted unanimously to approve the purchase and acceptance of a utility easement and a temporary construction easement from Jack and Joan Haile on the property located at 3303. E. Bankhead Highway in the City. The motion carried 5 - 0.
