4.a: Canvass of the May 3, 2025 General Election, including authorization for the Mayor to execute the Canvass documentation as the Presiding Officer of the Canvassing Authority, and to issue the Certificate of Election to the successful candidate for Mayor of the Weatherford City Council. City Secretary Andrea McDonald read the official results of the May 3, 2025 General Election into the record as follows: City of Weatherford Mayor Paul Paschall 1,044 votes 88.62% Will Montgomery 134 votes 11.38% On the motion of Zack Smith, second by Matt Ticzkus, the City Council voted unanimously to accept the canvass of the election results as presented. The motion carried 5 - 0.

4.b: Administer the Oath of Office to the Mayor. City Secretary Andrea McDonald administered the Oath of Office to Mayor Paul Paschall.

6.a: Proclamation declaring May 11-17, 2025, as Economic Development Week in the City of Weatherford. The City Council recognized Economic Development Week in Weatherford, May 11–17, by presenting a proclamation to Economic Development Director Ashley Seitz and Chamber of Commerce President Tammy Gazzola.

Consent agenda, approved as one vote: 8.a: Increased the amount of the Job Order Contracting (JOC) Program for facilities maintenance and construction related services awarded to Harendt Construction Group, LLC to an amount not to exceed $1,200,000 for the annual program. 8.b: Authorized the City Manager to execute a Job Order with Harendt Construction Group, LLC under the Job Order Contracting Program for construction services related to the 221 North Main project in an amount not to exceed $28,159 for a total aggregate fiscal year expenditure amount of $61,457. 8.c: Authorized the City Manager to execute a Job Order with Harendt Construction Group, LLC under the Job Order Contracting Program for construction services related to Weatherford Farmers Market improvements in an amount not to exceed $205,413.

9.a: Consider approval of a professional services proposal from MHS Planning and Design for the design and construction plans for the McGratton Park remodel project, in the amount of $188,335. Director of Parks, Recreation and Special Events Jaycob Kirkpatrick presented proposed improvements to McGratton Park and confirmed that the basketball courts would be enhanced and not eliminated. On the motion of Heidi Wilder, second by Matt Ticzkus, the City Council voted unanimously to approve the professional services proposal from MHS Planning and Design for the design and construction plans for the McGratton Park remodel project, in the amount of $188,335. The motion carried 5 - 0.
