Consent agenda, approved as one vote (4-0, on the motion of Jeff Robinson, second by Kevin Cleveland): Approved the minutes of the City Council meeting held February 9, 2021. Reappointed Eric Lee to the Zoning Board of Adjustments; and reappointed Kevin Hamilton, Teri Hubbard, Joshua Porter, and Kathy Wylie to the Historic Preservation Commission; and reappointed Mary Lou Curry, Kathy Smith, and John Thielepape to the Weatherford Housing Authority. Appointed alternate member Scott Terry to a regular member seat on the Zoning Board of Adjustments. Approved Resolution R2021-07 authorizing the Weatherford Police Department to apply for grant funding offered by the Office of the Governor, DJ-Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program. Adopted Ordinance O2021-10 amending the FY21 Adopted General City Budget. Approved the final plat for the Haydon Creek Ranch subdivision, 49 lots totaling 114.137 acres on Floyd Road in the R.N. Johnson Survey, Abstract No. 762 and the W. Williams Survey, Abstract No. 1632, in the ETJ of the City of Weatherford, Parker County, Texas. SBD2021-0005. Approved the final plat for Heritage Trails, a 20.921 acres tract of land out of the Daniel Norton Survey, for a 188-lot development in the City of Weatherford, Parker County, Texas. SBD2021- 0001. Approved the final plat of Crown Valley Phase 2 Section 3B, a 43-lot subdivision in the 16.51- acre tract of land situated in the A. McCarver survey and the J.B. Wynn survey, City of Weatherford, Parker County, Texas. SBD2021-0004. Adopted Ordinance O2021-09 releasing, vacating and abandoning a blanket utility and right-of- way easement covering 3.95 acres in the Sarah Monk Survey, Abstract No. 906, Parker County, Texas, as described in Book 1769, Page 542, Deed Records, Parker County, Texas and authorized the Mayor to execute a Quit-Claim deed of the easement to Aggieland Properties, Inc.
Consider an amendment to the agreement with SEDALCO, Inc. to establish a guaranteed maximum price not to exceed $154,458 for the Weatherford Public Safety Building site demolition. Police Chief Lance Arnold presented this item. On the motion of Kevin Cleveland, second by Jeff Robinson, the Council voted to authorize the City Manager to sign the amendment to the agreement. Motion carried 4 - 0.
