Proclamation for National Volunteer Week. Mayor Swancy recognized the volunteers that aid and support the functions of the City of Weatherford. Proclamation for Vietnam Veteran’s Awareness Week. Mayor Swancy recognized all Vietnam Veterans.

Consent agenda, approved as one vote (5-0, on the motion of Heidi Wilder, second by Jeff Robinson): Approved the minutes of the City Council meetings held March 28, 2017 and March 30, 2017. Approved Ordinance 832-2017-16 to deny the rate change request from Oncor Electric Delivery Company, LLC. Acted to dissolve the Weatherford Economic Development Authority, Inc. Approved the City Manager to execute an interlocal agreement with the North Central Texas Council of Governments for the installation of a radio tower at Harberger Hill. Appointed Dr. Morris Maniscalco to the Historic Preservation Commission replacing Carole Peterson whose term ended March 20th; and appointed Teri Hubbard and Kwin Smith to vacant alternate positions on the Zoning Board of Adjustments effective immediately; and appointed/transferred Teri Hubbard into a regular member seat on the Zoning Board of Adjustments effective June 30, 2017 at the conclusion of Collin Andrus’ second full term.
