3.a: Hold a PUBLIC HEARING and consider a request to amend the Title XII Zoning Ordinance, Section 12-3-302, "C1" General Commercial, Section 12-3-303 "C2" Interstate Commercial, Section 12-5-108 "Short-Term Rentals," and Section 12-6-100 "Definitions" to permit short-term rentals in existing single-family detached residences in C1 and C2 zoning districts and clarify the applicable regulations. MCA-25-0010. Planner Katelyn Seckman presented proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance. Chair Brian McKeown opened the Public Hearing at 2:35 p.m. With no public comments received, Chair McKeown closed the Public Hearing at 2:35 p.m. On the motion of Zachary Cray, second by Kathy Wylie, the Commission voted unanimously to recommend approval of the proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance as presented. The motion carried 6 - 0.
3.b: Consider a request for Final Plat approval for RaceTrac Weatherford, being 1 lot on approximately 7.341 acres of land, generally located at the northeast corner of Ric Williamson Memorial Highway and Interstate 20, City of Weatherford, Parker County, Texas. SBD-25-0016. Planner Sergio Baeza presented a request for final plat approval for RaceTrac Weatherford, submitted by applicant Jon Olson, Foresite Group LLC. On the motion of Sharon Hayes, second by Zachary Cray, the Commission voted to recommend approval of the final plat as presented, subject to all requirements of the subdivision ordinance. The motion carried 6 - 0.
