Invitation from Tracy Lowther of the Weatherford Little League to attend their upcoming opening ceremonies on February 25th. Ms. Lowther spoke about the program and invited Council to join the opening ceremonies at 9:00 a.m. on February 25th. Recognition to the City of Weatherford for being awarded the 2022 Texas Downtown Association Best Public Improvement for the Historic Weatherford Street Reconstruction Project (NE Quadrant). Director of Public Works Chad Marbut stated that he is privileged to present this award to the Council.

Consent agenda, approved as one vote (5-0, on the motion of Kevin Cleveland, second by Heidi Wilder): Approved the minutes of the City Council meeting held December 13, 2022. Approved a one-year extension of the lease agreements for 213 and 217 Fort Worth Highway. Authorized staff to hire DFW Holiday Kings - TIPS BuyBoard No. 200806 to provide various event needs including but not limited to decor, lighting, displays, and technical set-ups along with maintenance of all downtown lighting in an amount not to exceed $200,000. Authorized the City Manager to execute an agreement with the Silverstone Homeowners Association to coordinate roadway connections to the Parker County East Loop.

Consider adoption of Ordinance O2023-01, on first and final reading, amending portions of Chapter 3 "Traffic-Control Devices" and portions of Chapter 7 "Stopping, Standing and Parking", of Title X "Motor Vehicles and Traffic" of the official city code of the City of Weatherford, relating to the installation of and specifications for traffic-control devices, and to provide for the maintenance of an official inventory of traffic-control devices in the city. Director of Public Works Chad Marbut presented this item. Staff recommended approval. On the motion of Heidi Wilder, second by Matt Ticzkus, the Council voted unanimously to approve this item as presented. Motion carried 5 - 0.
