Approval of Minutes – June 26, 2025. The minutes of the June 26, 2025 meeting were reviewed. Following review and discussion, Director Lisle made a motion to approve the minutes as presented. Director Hayes seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
Return to Open Session, address, and possible vote on any issues outstanding from. Executive Session: The Board reconvened into Open Session at 12:47 PM. No action was taken.
Discussion and possible vote to approve Agreements between Parker County Hospital. District and Ticknor Enterprises Arlington, LLC in order to participate in State’s Quality Incentive Payment Program: Mr. Jackson updated the Board on the success the Hospital District has had by partnering with several nursing homes in the State’s Quality Incentive Payment Program. He noted that an operator has approached the Hospital District about participating in the program with the nursing home they operate in Granbury. Mr. Jackson noted that the partnership would benefit both the nursing home and the Hospital District. Following review and discussion, Director Carter made a motion to approve participation in the State’s Quality Improvement Payment Program with Ticknor Enterprises Arlington, LLC. Director Barnett seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
Discussion and possible vote to approve Unimproved Property Contract between. Versailles Estates, LP and Parker County Hospital District for the purchase of real property located at Lot 1, Block A, Brookhollow Subdivision, Aledo, Texas 76008: Mr. Bacus updated the Board on efforts to purchase land for an EMS station south of Aledo. He noted that after a lengthy search he and EMS leadership are recommending the purchase of the property at Lot 1, Block A in the Brookhollow Subdivision in Aledo. Following review and discussion, Director Barnett made a motion to approve the Unimproved Property Contract between Versailles Estates, LP and Parker County Hospital District for the purchase of real property located at Lot 1, Block A, Brookhollow Subdivision, Aledo, Texas 76008. Director Lisle seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
Discussion and possible vote to establish Non-Profit Corporation. Mr. Jackson noted that the Hospital District has been approached by an individual who would like to make a donation which would be used to benefit the Hospital District if it can be donated to a Non-Profit Foundation controlled by the Hospital District. Mr. Jackson noted that the Hospital District did have an affiliation with a local foundation before the hospital was leased in 2006, but the Hospital District and the foundation parted ways after the lease was executed. Mr. Jackson emphasized that the Hospital District would be setting up the foundation in order to receive donations and is not trying to compete in any way with the other local foundation. Following review and discussion, Director Floyd made a motion to affirm the creation of a Non-Profit Foundation that would specifically support the Parker County Hospital District. Director Hayes seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
