6.a: Consider authorizing the City Manager to execute a construction contract with Patcon Services, LLC for the Water and Wastewater Improvements - 100-600 Block of West Columbia project in the amount not to exceed $1,165,737.49 for a total aggregate fiscal year expenditure amount of $2,961,785. Assistant Director of Public Works Bill Smith presented this item. On the motion of Lindsey Hester, second by Ken Davis, the board voted to approve this item. Motion carried 5 - 0.
6.b: Consider authorizing the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 2 to the MUB06262025 Page 1 of 2 Wholesale Wastewater Service Agreement with the City of Hudson Oaks. Director of Water Utilities Rick Shaffer presented this item. After discussion, on the motion of Dr. Tom Novak, second by Ken Davis, the board voted to approve this item. Motion carried 5 - 0.
6.c: Consider adoption of Resolution R2025-07 authorizing the City Manager to execute a Principal Forgiveness Agreement and Escrow Agreement with the Texas Water Development Board to receive funding under the Clean Water State Revolving Fund - Emerging Contaminants Program, in the amount of $546,000. Director of Water Utilities Rick Shaffer presented this item. After discussion, on the motion of Heidi Wilder, second by Lindsey Hester, the board voted to approve the adoption of Resolution R2025-07. Motion carried 5 - 0.
7.a: Water Purification Plant Project Update Director of Water Utilities Rick Shaffer presented this item. This update was for informational purposes, and no action was required or taken.
