Consent agenda, approved as one vote: 6.a: Consider authorizing the procurement of laboratory equipment and supplies, and equipment maintenance services from Hach Company Inc and HD Supply Facilities Maintenance (dba USA Bluebook), through interlocal agreements, in an amount not to exceed $200,000 cumulatively. 6.c: Discuss and consider authorizing City Manager to execute a contract with North Point Technology, LLC for SCADA HMI upgrades at the Water Purification Plant, in the amount of $99,968, and not to exceed an amount of $120,000. 6.d: Consider and/or act upon approval of Resolution R2025-02 amending the FY25 Adopted Utility Budget. 6.b: Consider authorizing the expenditure of funds with Anixter, Inc., Texas Electric Cooperatives, Inc., and Techline, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $5 million MUB01302025 Page 1 of 2 cumulatively. After discussion, On the motion of Lindsey Hester, second by Dr. Tom Novak, the board voted to approve this item as presented. Motion carried 6 - 0.
7.a: Consider authorizing the City Manager to execute a construction contract with BRZ Coatings, Inc. for the Miller Elevated Storage Tank Rehabilitation project in the amount not to exceed $404,000. Assistant Director of Public Works Bill Smith presented this item. After discussion, on the motion of Dr. Tom Novak, second by Ken Davis, the board voted to approve this item. Motion carried 6 – 0.
