Authorization to utilize outside engineering firm for purposes of permitting. Motion by Commissioner Conley, seconded by Commissioner Walden, to approve hiring Ken Dees as part-time temp, as interim department head; all aye; carried.
Public Hearing for 2023-2024 fiscal year proposed budget. No action taken.
Salaries and Benefits for Non-Elected Employees. Motion by Commissioner Walden, seconded by Commissioner Hale, to take this up at a later court and that we be provided of a list of salaries for all those people that we’re talking about; all aye; carried.
Salaries and Benefits for Elected Officials. Motion by Commissioner Holt, seconded by Commissioner Conley that we leave the current pay as is, but exclude the 3% raise. (This is referring, to the salary of CCL 1 Judge Kirk Martin); all aye; carried.
Human Services Budget Requests Updates. Motion by Commissioner Walden, seconded by Commissioner Conley, to allocate $24,000; all aye; carried.
Special Revenue Funds and Projects. No action taken.
Capital & Non-Capital item Budget Request updates including but not limited to:. Motion by Commissioner Conley, seconded by Commissioner Walden, to approve the rollover amount of $42,515; all aye; carried.
Additional Employee Salary Requests and/or New Positions. Motion by Commissioner Holt, seconded by Commissioner Walden, to approve the request of Constable Precinct Two for an additional deputy for a budgeted salary of $63,439; all aye; carried.
Capital & Non-Capital item Budget Request updates including but not limited to:. Motion by Commissioner Holt, seconded by Commissioner, to approve the request of Constable Pct Two for a bullet proof vest and laptop, at a cost of $2,666; all aye; carried.
