4.a: Receive a report on the Wholesale Wastewater Contract between Weatherford Municipal Utility System and City of Hudson Oaks. Director of Water Utilities Rick Shaffer introduced the City Administrator of Hudson Oaks, Sterling Naron. Mr. Naron provided a brief recap and updated the board on the current status of the construction of Hudson Oaks wastewater treatment system. This report was for informational purposes, and no action was required or taken.
Consent agenda, approved as one vote: 6.a: Authorized the City Manager to execute a contract with Northeast Service, Inc. dba Horton Tree Services for Utility Forestry Services in an amount not to exceed $400,000. 6.b: Authorized the Water Utility to apply for grant funding offered by the Texas Water Development Board under the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund - Emerging Contaminants in Small or Disadvantaged Communities Grant Program; Federal Fiscal Year 2022/2023 and adopt Resolution No. R2026-03. MUB02262026 Page 1 of 3. 6.c: Authorized the City Manager to execute a professional services contract with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. for a water system analysis in an amount not to exceed $27,500, for a total aggregate fiscal year expenditure of $269,000.
7.a: Consider and/or act upon delinquent lake lot licenses. Director of Water Utilities Rick Shaffer presented this item. Mr. Shaffer explained that as of today all late lake lot license fees had been paid in full. On the motion of Heidi Wilder, second by Ken Davis, the board voted to accept payments and reinstate the lake lot licenses for Lot 41, Lot 115, Lot 296, Lot 380, Lot 388, Lot 406, Lot 491, Lot 493, and Lot 627. Motion carried 6 - 0.
7.b: Consider authorizing the City Manager to execute a construction contract with Capital Underground Utilities, LLC for the Franklin Pressure Plane & Fort Worth Highway Water Improvements project in the amount not to exceed $2,999,605. Director of Public Works Matt Leppla presented this item. After discussion, on the motion of Lindsey Hester, second by Heidi Wilder, the board voted to approve this item as presented. Motion carried 6 - 0.
8.a: Quarterly Risk Management Report. Director of Electric Utilities Joe Farley presented this item. This quarterly report was for informational purposes, and no action was required or taken.
