Consent agenda, approved as one vote: 6.a: Authorized the expenditure of funds to renew the annual support contract and monthly services for the outage management system (OMS) and related technologies totaling $97,350. 6.b: Authorized entering into a pole attachment agreement with AMG Technology Investment Group, LLC, a Texas limited liability company, dba Nextlink MUB05292025 Page 1 of 2 Internet. 6.c: Authorized the procurement of equipment maintenance and repair services from Legacy Contracting LP, dba Control Specialist Services LP, through an interlocal agreement, in an amount not to exceed $75,000.
7.a: Consider authorizing the City Manager to execute a professional services contract with Teague, Nall, and Perkins for design of the Northeast Water Improvements project in an amount not to exceed $237,100. Assistant Director of Public Works Bill Smith presented this item. After discussion, on the motion of Dr. Tom Novak, second by Ken Davis, the board voted to approve the item as presented. Motion carried. 5 – 0.
8.a: Water System Update Director of Water Utilities Rick Shaffer presented this item. This update was for informational purposes, and no action was required or taken.
Future agenda items: None. Assistant City Manager Chad Marbut mentioned the Take Back Meds Event that took place on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Mr. Marbut stated that it was a successful event in which over 500 pounds of unused medicines were collected.
