Compiled from the record with an editorSunday: 27,490 people voted in person across Parker County in the first five weekdays of early voting
Why it matters. The rosters are the only official count of turnout before results come in on Nov. 3. Nothing new was posted overnight by the city, the county or Weatherford ISD, so the rest of today's edition is the week ahead.
Partly sunny, high near 81, and no NWS alerts for Weatherford. Burn ban: still on, unchanged since Saturday. The City Council meets Tuesday at 6 p.m.

This week at City Hall: Tuesday's council agenda, three Wednesday-and-Monday boards, and a utility board agenda still to come
Tuesday's 6 p.m. council meeting carries three public hearings: a fueling-station permit for 7.341 acres at 1802 Old Brock Road; voluntary annexation of a 48-acre tract owned by Westoplex Development Group; and a development agreement and zoning change from agriculture to single-family with a planned-development overlay for Heritage Park Estates, also about 48 acres. Consent items include up to $400,314 with Motorola Solutions for public-safety radio maintenance, WatchGuard camera systems and related equipment in FY27, up to $424,000 with SHI Government Solutions for hardware, software and services in FY27, $277,655.91 in furniture from Wilson Bauhaus Interiors for the Development Services and Parks Administrative Office Building, and a new five-year agreement with the Weatherford Mountain Bike Club. Council is also asked to move its Feb. 23, 2027, meeting to Monday, Feb. 22, because of Parker County Day in Austin. The Library Board meets Monday at 1 p.m.; the Building and Standards Commission Wednesday at 9 a.m.; the Historic Preservation Commission Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. The Municipal Utility Board is on the calendar for Thursday at noon, but its agenda was not on Granicus this morning.
What you can do. Residents who want to speak on a topic not on the agenda turn in a speaker card to the secretary five minutes before the meeting starts; comments are limited to three minutes.
