Compiled from the record with an editorFriday: the National Weather Service has Parker County under a Wind Advisory from 4 a.m. to 7 p.m. CDT
Why it matters. The Wind Advisory is a government warning on a burn-ban day: NWS says unsecured outdoor items may be blown around, driving may become difficult especially for high-profile vehicles, and small tree limbs could break and cause damage.

The Sept. 22 council minutes remain the newest posted minutes on Granicus, recording 5-0 votes to join the Parker County Public Utility Agency, build a $2,457,711 Holland Lake Park playground and enter the 287(g) Task Force Model.
